One of the most interesting things about ancient literature and religion is the hundreds of names used. If I collect anything, I collect names. Below are names given to divinity, arranged by geographical location. My lists are, of course, incomplete and it is also possible that some points are wrong. Bear in mind that these names and facts are gleaned from ancient, ANCIENT sources. Interpretation is always different from one scholar to the next.
